Traxus is a 2v2 to 4v4 map designed for fast-paced action. Set within a crate manufacturing station, the player is constantly challenged with both long lines of sight and tight corridors. The map is part of Installation 01, a Halo fan game, it supports flexible player counts to ensure fun even if player numbers vary; it shines in 2v2 matches but can play high-speed 4v4 gameplay too, being directly inspired by classic Halo 2 maps, such as lockout for pacing.
When I designed this map it was one of the first with the new Installation 01 Sandbox and movement set as they just moved from Cryengine to Unreal Engine 5 so it was used as a baseline to convert the rest of their map pool when it comes to feel, scale, and design style (Smaller maps designed for slow 2v2 and fast paced 4v4)
